Claire's Birthday

This week is full Celebration for our family.
To start us off was Claire's 1st birthday!!! Claire's first year went so much faster then I thought. She got the main part of her present early; Fish!

After some consideration, finding tank and supplies listed for a great price on CL, and seeing how much our kids love animals we have broke our "no pet" rule and are kind of obsessed now. We have three neon tetra's named "Aw", "Da" and "Muah"
Sadly, we had to give away our Danio "Old Jack" because he wasn't happy in our small tank and started bulling the tetras.

For Claire's actual birthday, she got her one year shots :-( I felt so bad about taking her the doctor's on her birthday, but it had to be done.

Things got better after the doctors though. We put-up a banner and had cake

Then it was time for her present.

It's crockshanks the cuddliest and ugliest homemade stuffed raccoon ever. She is learning at an early age too love the good and ignore the ugly. After we went to the park, were Claire thoroughly enjoyed swinging and refused to get out.

She is a joyful and thrill loving girl. I am so happy for the fun and love she brings to our family.

The next day, Jacob and Celebrated our 5th anniversary by getting our traditional whole foods salad bar, sitting in a park, and getting a baby-sitter. It was so wonderful to be able to find a wonderful girl to babysit. The kids loved her (evidenced by Claire not crying once when we left)
